LIKE VOLTRON

it has been too long since i sat in front of a television, mesmorized by the combined super-power of the heroes that formed VOLTRON. i would intently await the metamorphosis that would take place when each of the heroes joined their robotic tigers into one large super-robot that became practically indestructable. there is something to be said about the lone warrior, the single heroe on a lone misison to save the world, but i have always been much more intrigued by team play. i guess i believe the power of community to be far more useful than my own strength.

the other night, i found myself energized, with my fiancee and i sharing a good meal with friends, having discovered in conversation, their newfound excitement for photography. before we knew it, we were passionately sharing ideas, plans, dreams, freedom and expression, in a vocation that would fit more than just a paycheck. with possibility on the horizon, realistic enough to be conceived, i feel like the pieces are coming together; the people are coming together. and, though we may not be fighting villains on saturday mornings, i do sense my own strengths being harnessed for the benefit of more than just myself, as i find new friends along this path.
